JC Exotic Pet Consultancy is a new solo venture for John Chitty
It is essentially a mobile service with surgeries held weekly at partner clinics:
Seadown Veterinary Hospital, Hythe, Southampton
Endell Veterinary Group, Salisbury
Brunswick Place Veterinary Clinic, Basingstoke
Clinics will also be held locally round the Andover and Salisbury region at
Porton Garden Aquatics and Pets

We see both first opinion and cases referred from other veterinary clinics – please remember if you are under the care of another vet, we will need to request your pet’s medical notes
The consultancy provides a veterinary service for all
· Small mammals – rabbits, rodents, ferrets
· Camelids – alpacas and llamas
· Birds-
· Reptiles – tortoises, snakes, lizards
· Amphibians – frogs, toads, salamanders and axolotls
· Invertebrates – spiders, scorpions, insects
· Fish
· Wildlife rehabilitation
In short, we will see any pet apart from dogs, cats and horses!
We also provide consultancy to several zoological collections
